Quarterback Anthony Colandrea signed a deal to return to Nebraska for the 2027 season, his agent told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
The next campaign will be Colandrea's final year of college eligibility. He transferred to Nebraska in January after starting for UNLV in 2025.
Colandrea has led Nebraska to a 5-2 record this season, and the program is fighting for its first-ever spot in the College Football Playoff.
The 22-year-old has thrown for 1,570 yards with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions this season. He's added 334 yards and four scores on the ground. Among 18 qualifying Big Ten quarterbacks, Colandrea ranks fifth in offensive touchdowns and seventh in EPA/dropback, according to TruMedia.
Colandrea initially committed to Virginia as a three-star recruit in the 2023 class. He started 17 games for the Cavaliers over two seasons before transferring to UNLV in December 2024.
Nebraska will face Washington (4-3) on Saturday.
