The Vancouver Canucks are searching for reinforcements down the middle of the ice, reports TSN's Darren Dreger.

Vancouver has reportedly been scouring the trade market for a center since the second half of last season, but recent injuries to Filip Chytil and Teddy Blueger have heightened the club's need. Chytil, who has a history of concussions, was hurt Saturday against the Washington Capitals after taking a big hit from Tom Wilson. It's unclear when he'll return.

The team is open to all options, including depth centers, Dreger adds.

The Canucks were linked to Dylan Cozens before the Buffalo Sabres traded him to the Ottawa Senators last campaign. They also reportedly showed interest in Marco Rossi this summer, but the Minnesota Wild ultimately re-signed the restricted free agent.

Vancouver's list of healthy centers currently includes Elias Pettersson, Aatu Raty, Max Sasson, and Nils Aman. The latter three have 22 career NHL goals between them.
