Taylor ends illustrious career by becoming 3-time undisputed champ

Katie Taylor went out with a bang, ending her career with a unanimous decision victory over Flora Pili in front of a sold-out crowd at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday.

Taylor dominated the fight on the scorecards, 100-90, 100-90, and 98-91, becoming a three-time undisputed women's champion with the win.

The 40-year-old finishes her professional career with a 26-1 record after competing in 189 amateur bouts.

In addition to her professional boxing accomplishments, Taylor won 18 gold medals, including one at the 2012 London Olympics, when she served as Ireland's flag bearer.

Taylor was also responsible for some of the biggest women's fights in boxing history. She headlined Madison Square Garden with Amanda Serrano in April 2022 and set a record for the most-watched women's professional sporting event in U.S. history in her rematch with Serrano in November 2024.
