Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is a surprise inactive against the Cleveland Browns due to a hamstring injury, the team announced Sunday.
Pickens popped up on the injury report Friday after being limited in practice. He intended to play Sunday, but the Steelers opted to be cautious and not risk making the hamstring injury worse, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Pickens leads the Steelers in receptions (55) and yards (850). He's also hauled in three touchdowns.
With Pickens sidelined, the Steelers will rely more on Van Jefferson, Calvin Austin, and Mike Williams. The latter hasn't received a target since his game-winning touchdown catch against the Washington Commanders in Week 10.
