Report: Seahawks' Metcalf requests trade
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has requested a trade, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
The Seahawks have reportedly agreed to explore options.
Metcalf has one year remaining on his current deal and would like a new contract, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The 27-year-old hauled in 66 receptions for 992 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games during the 2024 campaign. He's posted at least 900 yards and five scores every year since being selected 64th overall in the 2019 draft.
Seattle will likely be without two of its top three receivers from last season following Metcalf's request and Tyler Lockett's release. Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the team with 100 receptions, 1,130 yards, and six scores in 2024.
Metcalf has tallied 6,324 yards and 48 touchdowns on 438 catches in 97 career games.
