Eagles add Ojulari on 1-year deal reportedly worth $4M
The Philadelphia Eagles are signing former New York Giants pass-rusher Azeez Ojulari to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.
His deal is worth $4-million, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Ojulari registered six sacks and seven tackles for a loss across 11 appearances and five starts last season.
The 24-year-old is the latest former Giant to come to Philadelphia with veteran cornerback Adoree' Jackson reportedly joining the NFC East rival earlier this month.
In addition to Ojulari, the Eagles also added former New England Patriots pass-rusher Josh Uche in free agency. Philadelphia is trying to replace the void of edge rusher Josh Sweat, who departed for the Arizona Cardinals.
A second-round pick in 2021, Ojulari's best season came as a rookie when he put up eight sacks. He's totaled 22 sacks and four forced fumbles during his NFL career.
