The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing kicker Chris Boswell to a four-year, $28-million extension, his agency told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Boswell's average annual salary of $7 million ties him with Brandon Aubrey of the Dallas Cowboys as the highest-paid kickers in NFL history. Aubrey signed his record-setting extension in late April.

The extension locks Boswell up through the 2030 campaign. He was playing under a four-year, $20-million deal that he inked in August 2022.

The 35-year-old has been with Pittsburgh since 2015. He earned a first-team All-Pro nomination in 2024 and has made two AFC Pro Bowl rosters during his Steelers tenure.

Boswell made 27 of 32 field goals in 2025. His 88.1% field-goal percentage ranks fifth on the NFL's all-time list, and he's made the most 50-plus-yard kicks in the league since 2020, according to TruMedia.
