Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop is looking to rebound after a missed field goal in the dying seconds of last season's Week 18 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers cost his team a spot in the playoffs.
"I would say the biggest thing I did was just acknowledge and accept it, and it took a day or two," Loop said, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley. "I would say moving on from the kick itself was pretty easy, just because I know you have to be ready for the next kick, and you have to be able to put it behind you."
He added, "No one wishes they had that kick back more than me. But you have to move on."
Baltimore was down two points with two seconds remaining in the season finale against its division rival. Loop missed wide right on a 44-yard field goal that would've catapulted the Ravens to an AFC North crown after the offense got them to Pittsburgh's 26-yard line.

The failed attempt led to Baltimore missing the playoffs for the first time since the 2021 campaign. It also had ripple effects across the organization, as owner Steve Bisciotti fired John Harbaugh days later, ending the head coach's 18-year run with the Ravens.
"We've all had stuff look bad (and) go bad for us in the NFL," Ravens star safety Kyle Hamilton said of Loop. "At the end of the day, it's up to you - all of us as well, but mainly yourself - to look inward and say, 'Hey, how can I adjust this?'
"I don't want to say that we are not supporting each other along the way, and (we) want each other to be the best that we can be, but you shouldn't need 'attaboys' to get yourself right. That's how I approach it."
Loop, who was a sixth-round pick in the 2025 draft out of Arizona, will now enter his second season as Baltimore's kicker. His 88.2% field-goal success rate in 2025 was tied for 10th among 32 kickers with at least 15 attempts, according to TruMedia. The 44-yard miss in Week 18 was also his only failed attempt from 40-49 yards last year.
The Ravens report to training camp on July 28th for their first season under head coach Jesse Minter and will face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.
