Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love injured his ankle during Thursday's 27-14 preseason victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, head coach Mike LaFleur said postgame, according to team reporter Darren Urban.

However, LaFleur doesn't believe the injury is serious. He added that Love could have returned if needed and is hopeful he'll be back to practice this week, per Theo Mackie of azcentral sports.

LaFleur's update on second-round offensive lineman Chase Bisontis wasn't as optimistic; the coach called the rookie's knee injury "not good," adding that he will undergo tests, according to Urban.

Love, who was drafted with the No. 3 overall pick by the Cardinals this year, finished Thursday's game with 58 yards on 11 carries. He also caught three passes for 14 yards.
