The Cincinnati Bengals expect star wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to be ready for the season opener, head coach Zac Taylor said Tuesday, according to ESPN's Ben Baby.
Chase is recovering from a hyperextended left knee sustained Aug. 25 in practice, while Higgins is dealing with a bruised heel.
"(Tee) and Ja'Marr will be good at the end of the week," Taylor said.
The Bengals open their campaign Sept. 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Chase reeled in 125 receptions for 1,412 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 games last season. Higgins had 59 catches for 846 yards and 11 touchdowns in 15 contests.
Cincinnati finished third in the AFC North last season with a 6-11 record and missed the playoffs.
