The New York Giants listed receiver Malik Nabers as questionable ahead of Sunday's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.
The 23-year-old Nabers is working his way back from a torn ACL sustained in a game last September against the Los Angeles Chargers. He underwent surgery in October and had an additional procedure earlier this year to remove scar tissue and eliminate stiffness in his right knee.
Nabers was a full participant in practice leading up to the Giants' final injury report Friday. The LSU product did not play during the preseason.
Head coach John Harbaugh wouldn't confirm Nabers' status earlier in the week but expressed optimism about the pass-catcher's potential availability for the team's opener.
"I think he's ready to go," Harbaugh said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. "We'll see. It's still four days, five days until we play. If he's ready to go and feels like he's ready to go, then he'll play. If he's not ready, then he won't play."
Nabers said recently that he felt "real good" but still wanted to make sure that he could play a full game without restrictions.
