Cardinals complete stunning upset vs. Chargers

The Arizona Cardinals pulled off the biggest upset of the NFL's Week 1 slate thus far, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 26-14 on Sunday at SoFi Stadium.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 27 of 37 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown, while star tight end Trey McBride registered nine catches, 95 yards, and a score.

The Cardinals' defense limited the Chargers' offense to 268 total yards. Justin Herbert was held to 209 passing yards and an 83.7 passer rating.

Arizona entered the road game as 8.5-point underdogs.
