Kansas City Chiefs veteran Travis Kelce passed Jason Witten for second on the all-time receiving yards list among tight ends with a long reception on Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos.

The play gave Kelce 13,067 career yards, putting him ahead of Witten's 13,046 yards. Witten spent 17 years in the league, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys. He recorded four 1,000-plus-yard receiving seasons during his career and made 11 Pro Bowls.
Kelce now trails only Tony Gonzalez, who posted 15,127 yards during his 17-year NFL run. Gonzalez, who played from 1997-2013, entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019, becoming the first tight end to receive a first-ballot induction. He earned six first-team All-Pro nominations with the Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons.
Kelce, whose seven seasons of 1,000-plus receiving yards are a record at the position, also has the third-most receptions by a tight end in history.
The 36-year-old opted not to retire over the offseason and instead re-signed with the Chiefs on a one-year deal. He's spent his entire 13-year career with Kansas City after being selected in the third round of the 2013 draft out of Cincinnati. Kelce has won three Super Bowls and earned 11 Pro Bowl nods.
