Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase wasn't able to finish Sunday's 22-17 loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a concussion after taking a brutal hit to the head in the second quarter.

Chase got hurt when a Jaguars defender grabbed his facemask during a tackle and then another came in and slammed into the pass-catcher. Chase's head hit the turf hard, and he stayed down before heading to the medical tent.

Chase was later evaluated for a concussion in the locker room and then ruled out.

Chase caught three passes for 26 yards before exiting. The 26-year-old is considered one of the league's best wide receivers and had 21 catches for 211 yards and three touchdowns entering Sunday's game.

Cincinnati is already without wideout Andrei Iosivas, who's on injured reserve with a thumb injury.
