The NFL is likely to suspend Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Alaric Jackson two games for punching Buffalo Bills edge rusher Bradley Chubb after Monday's game, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The league has yet to notify the Rams or the NFLPA about Jackson's expected suspension, according to Schefter.

Jackson would be forced to miss games against the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders before being eligible to return in Week 8. He's started all five of the Rams' games this season and missed only one contest in 2025.
It remains unclear whether Jackson plans to appeal the possible suspension.
An ESPN broadcast camera captured Monday's postgame altercation. As Jackson stood near midfield after exchanging jerseys with Bills defensive lineman Deone Walker, Chubb appeared to say something in his direction. Jackson then walked toward Chubb before punching him in the face with his right hand.
Jackson and Chubb were separated by their respective teammates immediately afterward.
"It's just emotions, you know what I mean? Emotional game. It was a close game," Chubb told the California Post's Edward Lewis postgame. "And you know, they always catch the second guy. So, I let him swing. And then my teammates held me back, and I just chilled."
Jackson previously served a two-game suspension in 2024 for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
In addition to this week's expected ban, Jackson could eventually be subject to another suspension under the NFL's conduct policy after being arrested in June on suspicion of felony domestic violence. He wasn't formally charged after the incident, though the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office assigned him to a prefiling diversion program.
