Baltimore Ravens' backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is out for the season with a turf toe injury, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The 28-year-old suffered the injury during Sunday's 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills after taking over for starter Lamar Jackson, who hurt his thumb on his first play of the game.
Jackson's injury requires surgery and could sideline him for the remainder of the season.
The Ravens will start undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday. Baltimore also recently added quarterback Kedon Slovis to its 53-man roster from the Green Bay Packers' practice squad.
The Ravens (4-4) have lost their last three games.
