Florida Panthers winger Matthew Tkachuk is expected to miss about one week with an illness, the team announced Monday.
Tkachuk also missed Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres.
The Panthers play four games this week, beginning with a 1 p.m. ET matinee against the Boston Bruins on Monday.
Florida is also without captain Aleksander Barkov, who will miss the next two-to-three weeks with a lower-body injury. The Panthers have been forced to re-jig their top two lines without the pair of stars up front.
