Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point missed Tuesday's contest against the St. Louis Blues due to an undisclosed injury.
Point left Sunday's clash with the Winnipeg Jets after logging only 3:47 of ice time. There's no timeline on his absence at this point.
With Point unavailable, Anthony Cirelli anchored the first line with Nikita Kucherov and Brandon Hagel against the Blues. The club also recalled forward Gage Goncalves from AHL Syracuse prior to the game.
Point has recorded 13 points in 12 games this season while averaging nearly 19 minutes. He was named one of Team Canada's first six players for the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off in June.
The Lightning are currently second in the Atlantic Division at 7-5-0.
