Predators sign Evangelista to 2-year, $6M contract
The Nashville Predators signed forward Luke Evangelista to a two-year contract with a $3-million cap hit, the team announced Saturday.
Evangelista tallied 10 goals and 32 points in 68 games last season.
The 23-year-old was the last unsigned restricted free agent who wasn't at his team's training camp. Vegas Golden Knights forward Alexander Holtz remains without a contract, but the RFA has been at camp and has played throughout the preseason.
Evangelista will again be a restricted free agent after the 2026-27 campaign.
The Toronto native notched 16 goals and 39 points in 80 contests as a rookie in 2023-24 to finish ninth in Calder Trophy voting.
The Predators drafted Evangelista in the second round, 42nd overall, in 2020. He's accrued 33 goals and 86 points in 172 games over three seasons in Nashville.
