With only the top 30 players on the FedEx Cup points list advancing to East Lake for the season finale, some notable names had their year come to an end at the BMW Championship on Sunday.

Jordan Spieth won't play in the Tour Championship for the second straight year. He slotted in at 44th on the points list after another disappointing campaign where he only finished inside the top 10 four times.

Tiger Woods will be unable to defend his title at East Lake, where he earned his 80th career victory. Woods needed a top-11 result at the BMW Championship but could only manage a T37 effort.

In addition to Spieth and Woods, Francesco Molinari, Phil Mickelson, and Jason Day had their 2018-19 season come to an end at Medinah.

J.T. Poston - who won the Wyndham Championship two weeks ago - bogeyed his final hole at the BMW Championship to drop out of the top 30 and grant Jason Kokrak a spot in the season's last event.
