The Connecticut Sun selected UCLA guard Gianna Kneepkens with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
Kneepkens was the fifth Bruins player taken in the opening 15 picks, establishing a new WNBA record with five first-round picks a single school.
Considered a sniper, Kneepkens transferred to UCLA after four years at Utah. While the savvy perimeter threat's overall stats dropped as a result of joining Division I's deepest squad, her long-range shooting didn't suffer. Kneepkens led the national champions in 3-point percentage this past season, and she finished her college career going 335-of-777 (43.1%) from deep.
Kneepkens is also an efficient three-level scorer with near 50/40/90 shooting splits, and her size can result in matchup issues for smaller defenders.
