"As a little girl, you dream so big, you write your goals out, and you just never imagine that you were able to check them off. ... 15-year-old A'ja wasn't sitting up here dreaming about being a five-time MVP," Wilson told reporters Thursday, including ESPN's Kendra Andrews.

"She wasn't dreaming about being a three-time champion. She was dreaming about surviving this world. For me to sit up here with these trophies ... it means a little more to me."

Wilson averaged 26.2 points to capture her third straight scoring title and led her peers in blocks (1.9) for the fifth time in six years. She finished third in Defensive Player of the Year voting.

The 30-year-old also established new career highs in assists (3.2 per game) and threes made (38). She averaged 9.4 boards and 1.4 steals across 41 appearances this season.

The eight-time All-Star was the driving force of the Aces' second-ranked offense, as the team scored 21 more points per 100 possessions with Wilson on the floor.

Wilson has spent her entire career in Las Vegas since being drafted first overall in 2018. She's the franchise's all-time leader in several categories, including points, rebounds, free throws, and minutes played.
