The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed outfielder Starling Marte on the 10-day injured list with an abdominal wall contusion and infielder Erik Gonzalez on the 60-day IL with a left clavicle fracture, the team announced Saturday.

In a corresponding move, the Pirates promoted shortstop Cole Tucker and outfielder Bryan Reynolds from Tripe-A Indianapolis.

Marte and Gonzalez sustained their injuries after hitting each other in a scary collision on Friday when the Pirates were taking on the San Francisco Giants.

Marte, a 2016 All-Star, was carted off the field while Gonzalez also left the game. Coming into Friday's contest, Marte was hitting .203/.247/.377 with two homers and three stolen bases, while Gonzalez accrued a .216/.298/.294 slash line with two stolen bases.
