Aubrey Huff won't be attending the San Francisco Giants' 10-year reunion in August to celebrate their 2010 World Series championship team, according to a Giants statement obtained by Steve Berman and Dan Brown of The Athletic.

"Earlier this month, we reached out to Aubrey Huff to let him know that he will not be included in the upcoming 2010 World Series championship reunion. Aubrey has made multiple comments on social media that are unacceptable and run counter to the values of our organization. While we appreciate the many contributions that Aubrey made to the 2010 championship season, we stand by our decision," read the statement.

The 43-year-old Huff, who officially announced his retirement in 2014, voiced his displeasure after learning of the decision.

"Quite frankly, shocked. Disappointed. If it wasn’t for me, they wouldn’t be having a reunion," Huff told Berman and Brown. "But if they want to stick with their politically correct, progressive bullshit, that’s fine."

Later, Huff issued a statement, asserting that his humor on Twitter is "meant to be satirical and sarcastic" before claiming that the country is "under attack." He also accused Giants CEO Larry Baer of being "hypocritical" while noting that the executive recently pushed his wife, which led to him stepping away from the team and apologizing.

In November, Huff caused a stir on Twitter when he tweeted about getting his boys gun trained in the event Bernie Sanders became President of the United States.

In January, the 13-year MLB veteran appeared to advocate for the kidnapping of Iranian women in a since-deleted tweet about the United States going to war with Iran. He later said he was joking.

Huff was a key contributor to the Giants' success in 2010. He slashed .290/.385/.506 with 26 home runs and 86 RBIs during the regular season and hit .294/.368/.588 with one home run and four RBIs in the World Series.
