Dodgers' Buehler to start must-win Game 6 vs. Braves
The Los Angeles Dodgers will go with Walker Buehler for Game 6 against the Atlanta Braves in the National League Championship Series, manager Dave Roberts told the media, including Ken Gurnick of MLB.com.
The right-hander started Game 1 and allowed one run on three hits and five walks while striking out seven over five innings. Buehler took the no-decision in the loss.
Buehler, 26, posted a 3.44 ERA and 4.36 FIP over eight outings this season. He missed time at the end of the year due to a blister on his pitching hand, which has lingered this postseason.
The Braves will counter with their ace, Max Fried, in Game 6. The left-hander was instrumental in the team's Game 1 win, holding the Dodgers to one run on four hits and two walks while striking out nine through six frames.
