Cardinals' Arenado has elbow contusion after HBP

St. Louis Cardinals star third baseman Nolan Arenado departed from Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins after taking a 95-mph fastball to the elbow from reliever Huascar Brazoban.

The Cardinals announced during the contest that Arenado is dealing with a right elbow contusion.
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said postgame that X-rays were negative, according to Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The eight-time All-Star is slashing .260/.315/.375 with six homers and 32 RBIs over 70 games this season.
