With the 15th pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, the Seattle Mariners selected Jurrangelo Cijntje, a switch-pitcher from Mississippi State.
Cijntje gained notoriety while switch pitching for Curacao at the 2016 Little League World Series. He also made an impression at the 2022 MLB Draft Combine. He really grew into his own at Mississippi State in 2024, winning eight games and striking out 113 in 90 2/3.
