Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette left in the fourth inning of Wednesday's game against the San Francisco Giants due to right calf soreness, Toronto announced.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Thursday that Bichette is day-to-day with a right calf fascia strain, according to MLB.com's Keegan Matheson.
The 26-year-old landed on the 10-day injured list in late June with a right calf strain.
Bichette is going through the worst season of his six-year career, slashing .222/.275/.321 with four homers and 30 RBIs over 78 games.
The two-time All-Star entered Wednesday's action with 0.2 fWAR after compiling 13.7 fWAR combined from 2021-23.
