Seattle Mariners right-hander Luis Castillo left Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals in the bottom of the fourth inning with a hamstring strain, the team announced.
Castillo appeared to hurt himself at the end of his delivery on the 59th pitch.

Castillo had allowed two earned runs on five hits in three innings before his exit. He was replaced by Trent Thornton.
Castillo will undergo testing on Monday to determine the extent of his hamstring injury, which he said he first felt on a stolen base attempt earlier in the inning, according to Mariners insider Shannon Drayer.
The 31-year-old Castillo entered Sunday's outing with a 3.60 ERA and 9.0 K/9 in 172 1/3 innings for a Seattle club trying to keep its playoff hopes alive.
The Mariners sit 4.5 games back of the last AL wild-card spot and 5.5 games behind the Houston Astros for the top spot in the AL West.
