Outfielder Randal Grichuk is returning to the Arizona Diamondbacks on a one-year, $5-million contract with a mutual option for 2026, the club announced Tuesday.
Grichuk hit .291/.348/.875 with 12 home runs and 46 RBIs in 279 plate appearances for the Diamondbacks in 2024. He recorded an impressive .913 OPS against left-handed pitching.
The 33-year-old did most of his damage in September during one of the hottest stretches of his career. He hit seven home runs and five doubles in just 47 at-bats while Arizona fought for a wild-card spot.
Grichuk has also played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, Colorado Rockies, and Los Angeles Angels across 11 MLB campaigns. He holds a career .768 OPS (104 OPS+) with 203 home runs.
