The Cincinnati Reds are getting reinforcements ahead of their three-game series against the Seattle Mariners.

Cincinnati activated right-hander Alexis Díaz, outfielder Austin Hays, and infielder Matt McLain from the injured list, the team announced Tuesday.

Díaz (hamstring), and Hays (calf) haven't appeared in a regular-season contest for the Reds, while McLain played in eight games before going on the IL with a hamstring strain last week.

Díaz has served as the Reds' closer the past three seasons, saving 28 games in 2024. The 2023 All-Star owns a 2.93 ERA and 10.8 K/9 in 187 1/3 career innings.

Hays signed a one-year, $5-million deal with Cincinnati in the offseason after spending seven seasons with the Baltimore Orioles and finishing 2024 with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Hays owns a .261/.313/.432 career slash line with 68 home runs and 248 RBIs in 579 games.

McLain finished fifth in National League Rookie of the Year voting in 2023. He missed the entire 2024 campaign after undergoing surgery to repair his shoulder.

The 25-year-old hit three homers and posted an .862 OPS this season prior to going on the IL.

The Reds optioned outfielder Jacob Hurtubise and infielder Noelvi Marte to Triple-A Louisville in corresponding moves.
