Royals land Grichuk in trade with D-Backs
The Arizona Diamondbacks traded designated hitter/outfielder Randal Grichuk to the Kansas City Royals in exchange for minor-league reliever Andrew Hoffmann, the teams announced.
Grichuk, who can test free agency after this season, was seen giving his now-former D-Backs teammates hugs during Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Randal Grichuk was just informed he was traded to the Royals in the middle of the game.
