With Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Rose, and Iman Shumpert all dealing with injuries, the Cleveland Cavaliers are giving 13-year veteran Jose Calderon a shot.
Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue announced Sunday afternoon that Calderon will handle the team's starting point guard duties Monday evening against the Detroit Pistons.
The 36-year-old Spaniard has only appeared in seven games this season, starting once on Oct. 21st against the Orlando Magic. He has averaged 6.7 minutes per game in those contests.
