The Los Angeles Lakers may have more to be concerned about than the Toronto Raptors snapping their seven-game winning streak Sunday.
Forward Anthony Davis, who admitted to experiencing issues with his shoulder at the start of the season, said after the Lakers' loss that the ailment is still incessantly bothering him.
"There's really never a play I don't feel it," Davis said, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Davis has played in all nine of the Lakers' games so far but began feeling shoulder soreness following their victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Oct. 27. The issue continued to bother him against the Memphis Grizzlies two days later, though he still finished with 40 points and 20 rebounds.
During Sunday's loss, Davis was again seen grabbing his right shoulder after stretching for a block on Terence Davis late in the third quarter.
The Lakers star says he plans to keep playing through the pain.
"I'm going to go out there and play. I try not to let it affect my game," Davis said. "I just play through it and then worry about taking care of it after the game."
