Bob Myers, the president of sports for Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, tried to sell LeBron James on joining the Philadelphia 76ers during Wednesday's episode of "Game Over with Max Kellerman and Rich Paul."
"If he was here, I'd say, 'I honestly believe this is your best chance to win,'" Myers said. "You have to decide all the other things that are equally important because it's his life, right? He has to play. He has to face the scrutiny of his decision that'll have people say, 'You should have done this or should have done that.' ... They'll criticize him for whatever, which is his life.
"He's been through all that. What I would just say is if it's about winning, let's talk about this team because you can win here in Philadelphia."
Philadelphia is among the teams that have been linked to James in free agency.
The 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Miami Heat appear to be in the lead for the four-time MVP's services, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Philadelphia is coming off a second-round sweep against the New York Knicks and hasn't made an East final since 2001. However, the 76ers made a huge splash this summer, acquiring 2024 Finals MVP Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics.
The Sixers also boast Joel Embiid and the backcourt duo of Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.
