The Utah Jazz announced Friday that they've agreed to a multi-year contract with guard Keyonte George.
George will sign a five-year, $157.5-million rookie-scale extension, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania and Tim MacMahon.
"Keyonte's leadership, growth, and commitment to what we're building make him an integral part of this franchise's future," Jazz president of basketball operations Austin Ainge said.
"His work ethic, ability to connect with teammates in the locker room and on the floor, and his love for this team and our fans have been incredible to watch. We're thrilled he's choosing to remain in Utah as a foundational piece as we continue chasing our ultimate goal: a championship."
The Jazz are rewarding George with a lucrative new deal after he recorded career-high averages of 23.6 points and 6.1 assists per game during the 2025-26 season.
The two sides wrapped up months of offseason negotiations on Friday, and George's deal doesn't include team or player options, Charania reports.
The 22-year-old joins Victor Wembanyama and Amen Thompson as the only players from the 2023 NBA Draft to have signed extensions.
George is expected to form a formidable backcourt next season alongside 2026 No. 2 overall pick Darryn Peterson, as the Jazz look to build around a young nucleus that also includes Ace Bailey.
