Browns, Owusu-Koramoah strike 3-year deal reportedly worth $39M

The Cleveland Browns agreed to terms with Pro Bowl linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah on a three-year extension, the team announced Wednesday.

The deal is worth up to $39 million and includes $25 million guaranteed, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

"Been a while negotiating, but, man, it feels good," Owusu-Koramoah told reporters, including Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland. "It feels like I'm loved ... it feels good to be locked into a place and have the place also respect you and give you honor."

Owusu-Koramoah made the Pro Bowl last season after recording his first 100-plus-tackle campaign and notching two interceptions, a forced fumble, 3.5 sacks, and 20 tackles for loss.

The 24-year-old was slated to enter the final year of his rookie contract before the extension.

Owusu-Koramoah has developed into an integral part of the Browns' defense. Since entering the NFL as a second-round pick in 2021, he's garnered recognition for his athleticism and ability in coverage.

He leads a linebacking corps that also contains Jordan Hicks and Devin Bush, among others.
