Jaguars' Etienne week-to-week with hamstring injury
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, head coach Doug Pederson said Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Etienne was limited to 18% of the Jaguars' offensive snaps in Sunday's 35-16 loss to the Chicago Bears. He finished with minus-1 rushing yard on three carries and didn't catch his lone target.
The 25-year-old is rushing for 38.3 yards per game after averaging 59.3 or more in each of his first two seasons. He's also averaging 15.2 receiving yards per contest.
Tank Bigsby is expected to lead Jacksonville's backfield if Etienne misses time. The 2023 third-rounder leads the team with 297 rushing yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns this season. D'Ernest Johnson is in line to operate as Bigsby's backup.
The Jaguars (1-5) play the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium in Week 7.
