Report: Bears' Moore, Swift expected to play vs. 49ers
Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore and running back D'Andre Swift are expected to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Both players were listed as questionable with quad injuries. They didn't practice Wednesday and Thursday but were listed as limited participants in Friday's session.
Moore leads the Bears in receptions (62) and receiving yards (663). He also has five touchdowns in 12 games this season. The 27-year-old has only missed two contests during his seven-year career.
Swift, 25, is Chicago's leading rusher in 2024 after signing a three-year deal with the team in free agency. Backup running back Roschon Johnson was ruled out for Sunday's game with a concussion.
Sunday will be the Bears' first game with Thomas Brown as the interim head coach. Brown was promoted after the club fired Matt Eberflus.
