Chiefs' Brown, Butker return to practice
The Kansas City Chiefs opened the 21-day practice window for wide receiver Hollywood Brown and kicker Harrison Butker, the team announced Friday.
Brown has been cleared and could return before the end of the regular season, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Brown is recovering from an SC joint sprain that required surgery.
The 27-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs in the offseason but has yet to appear in a game due to the injury.
Brown tallied 574 yards and four touchdowns on 51 receptions with the Arizona Cardinals in 2023.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound speedster has totaled 313 receptions, 3,644 yards, and 28 touchdowns in 72 career games since being drafted 25th overall in 2019.
Meanwhile, Butker has missed the past four games with a knee injury. The Chiefs have relied on Spencer Shrader and Matthew Wright during his absence.
