Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur didn't hold back about his offense's struggles this season following a 35-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football.
"We gotta continue to work with these guys and try to figure out what we do well. Because right now, I don't know what we're doing well offensively," LaFleur said postgame when asked how he can fix Green Bay's offensive line.
The Packers' offensive line was once again a problem Thursday, as the group allowed Atlanta's defense to generate 15 quick pressures, according to Next Gen Stats. That total was the second-most surrendered by any team this season, trailing only Green Bay's 17 pressures allowed in its season opener against the Minnesota Vikings.
The team has also struggled to gain traction on the ground. Green Bay posted just 17 rushing yards versus Atlanta, bringing its season total to 146. Falcons running back Bijan Robinson eclipsed that number by himself Thursday, rushing for 194 yards in the victory.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love attempted 53 passes, the second-most he's logged in a game in his career. He completed just 52.8% of his throws for 312 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. On dropbacks in which he faced pressure, Love completed 8 of 21 passes for 71 yards with one pick.
"Something we'll look at," Love said when asked what the offense is doing well this season. "See what plays we're running well and go from that."
Through three weeks, Green Bay's 56 points and minus-0.10 EPA/play are its worst marks in the LaFleur era, according to TruMedia. The Packers have also lost two of their three games by 17-plus points, marking the first time since 2017 that they have lost multiple games by at least 17 in an entire season.
The Packers (1-2) will look to bounce back on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4.
