The Carolina Hurricanes took a 2-1 series lead over the Montreal Canadiens in the Eastern Conference Final with a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 3 on Monday.
Andrei Svechnikov scored the OT winner 14:06 into the extra frame. Sebastian Aho was initially credited with the goal before it was changed to Svechnikov's.

Canadiens defenseman Lane Hutson committed a costly turnover on the play to lead to the Hurricanes' goal.
It's the second straight OT victory for Carolina after Nikolaj Ehlers scored the winner in Game 2.
The Hurricanes outshot the Canadiens 38-13 in Monday's game. Carolina limited Montreal to one shot in each the third period and overtime.
