Suzuki wins Selke, Caufield takes Lady Byng

The Montreal Canadiens' dynamic duo is bringing home hardware for their stellar 2025-26 seasons.

Captain Nick Suzuki won the Selke Trophy as the league's top defensive forward, while winger Cole Caufield was awarded the Lady Byng Trophy for sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct, the league announced Friday.

Tampa Bay Lightning center Anthony Cirelli and Colorado Avalanche veteran Brock Nelson were the other finalists for the Selke Trophy.

Suzuki tallied 101 points in 82 games while posting a plus-37 rating, the 10th-best mark in the league. He also registered a 52.67% expected goals share.

Los Angeles Kings captain Anze Kopitar and Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson were the other two finalists for the Lady Byng.

Caufield scored a career-high 51 goals and took just seven minor penalties.
