Flyers' Vladar suffers upper-body injury in preseason game

Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Dan Vladar sustained an upper-body injury during Tuesday's preseason game against the Boston Bruins and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

Vladar appeared to be favoring his right arm after a collision in front of the net.

The Flyers signed Vladar to a five-year, $27.5-million extension this offseason after he enjoyed a career year with a .906 save percentage in 52 appearances in 2025-26. He was excellent in the playoffs, as he sported a .922 save percentage in 10 games while helping the Flyers reach the second round.
