Rangers' Perez says he killed and ate bull that injured him

Texas Rangers left-hander Martin Perez had a major offseason beef.
In December, he broke a bone in the elbow of his non-pitching arm after falling on his Venezuela ranch. The fall came after he was startled by a bull charging in its holding pen. Perez didn't take too kindly to that, and took the actions he deemed most appropriate.
"I killed him and I ate him," Perez told Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
"It was good meat," he added. "No more bull."
Perez made his Cactus League debut Sunday, and says he's ahead of schedule. Initially, he was expected to miss four months, but is in line to join the rest of the herd in the first week of the season.
And that's no bull.
