Aaron Boone was ejected in the bottom of the third inning of Sunday's game against the Houston Astros after expressing his displeasure with home-plate umpire Derek Thomas' strike zone.
After his ejection, Boone left the dugout to confront Thomas while Ryan McMahon was at the plate.
Third-base umpire Jordan Baker stepped between Boone and Thomas during the spat.

"I thought the zone was a little all over the place," Boone said, according to YES Network.
"I was on him a lot. That's over and done with, it is what it is," he added. "That isn't the reason we lost this game."
The ejection was Boone's fifth of the season, and he leads the majors in that category.
The Yankees skipper, who's on the hot seat amid a rough stretch for his club, has been ejected 44 times during his tenure in New York.
New York lost Sunday's clash 7-1.
