Blue Jays' Guerrero exits vs. Yankees after taking knee to head

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. left Friday's 3-1 win over the New York Yankees after being hit in the head by an opposing player's knee during a slide into third base.

The #BlueJays tied it with a little chaos, then immediately took the lead.

Guerrero scored on the play but didn't come out to play defense the following inning. Charles McAdoo replaced him at first base.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Guerrero was experiencing a headache from the collision and is undergoing concussion testing, according to Sporstnet's Hazel Mae.

Guerrero is in the midst of a down year in which he's slashed .263/.337/.356 with seven home runs and 47 RBIs in 115 games.
