Baltimore Orioles president of baseball operations Mike Elias says he expects to return in the same role for the 2027 season.
"That's my assumption," the executive told reporters Saturday, including MASN's Roch Kubatko.
Elias also confirmed that manager Craig Albernaz will return next season, but he added that the front office will seek new voices ahead of the next campaign.

Elias' role has come under fire this year, as the Orioles have played below expectations despite Baltimore adding slugger Pete Alonso in the offseason to a position-player group Elias hand-built through the draft.
The Orioles hired Albernaz as manager ahead of the 2026 campaign after Tony Mansolino served in an interim role following Brandon Hyde's dismissal last season.
With a 75-79 record, Baltimore enters Saturday last in the AL East and three games back of the third wild-card spot.
The Orioles won the AL East with a 101-win campaign in 2023.
