The Golden State Warriors expect Stephen Curry to return for Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing five contests with a thigh contusion.
"It's looking good," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Wednesday, per ESPN's Anthony Slater.
Curry didn't travel with the Warriors on their recent three-game road swing, which culminated with Sunday's 123-91 battering of the Chicago Bulls. Golden State went 3-2 in the 37-year-old's absence.
The 11-time All-Star was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and will take part in Thursday's team duties before receiving approval to play against the T-Wolves, Slater reports.
Curry is averaging 27.9 points on 47.1% shooting in 16 outings this season.
Warriors veteran Draymond Green also missed the last two contests and wasn't at Wednesday's practice because of a personal matter. However, Kerr said he expects Green to return to the team Thursday and could be in the lineup against Minnesota.
