New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby was back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's 115-104 overtime win in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 28-year-old tallied 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 34 minutes of action.
Anunoby hadn't played since sustaining a right hamstring injury in Game 2 of the Knicks' second-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers on May 6.
The 6-foot-7 forward recently returned to practice and said his current hamstring injury wasn't as bad as the one he suffered two years ago in the playoffs.
Anunoby was reportedly day-to-day but didn't suit up for the rest of the East semis.
The Indiana product was off to a strong start to the postseason, averaging 21.4 points, 7.5 boards, 1.9 steals, and 1.1 blocks across eight appearances.
